Storks fighting midair: That when we went to the lake for the crocodile. On the way back, I saw them fighting and I started to take their photos. I hadn’t seen anything like that until that day. That background, the color, the way they were fighting, everything. I keep wondering, I don’t what they were fighting for. Even thought they do fight, I was lucky that day to see it. Maybe they were fighting for the female or maybe it was husband and wife fighting. Maybe food.

Leopard in the Tree: It’s like we were really lucky to see this animal. As the driver told us that he only see leopards two times. That day was the third time. He also said that to see a leopard and it stayed for almost thirty minutes, he said that was the first time. It was hungry and it was in motion to hunt. Because of our connection with the animals, I can’t say, he was brave enough to stay where he was up to that time. Because as the driver told us, when you see leopard, you can’t see it for few seconds, not even a minute and it will just jump and start going. I was just not that much afraid, plus it was a little bit far from us. Just as I dais about the lion, he was just in the tree turning around, turning around, seeing us, opening the mouth, showing the teeth m the tongue and everything. The camera I have, the lens was not that much close and these are the only pictures I have. We should try to educate the others to be like us the way that we act with the animals. We are all living things. Not all the animals you will be able to protect. Like we have the Sapo National Park if possible maybe some NGO’s or the government can look into it and maybe bring that park back and we have all those animals that we can see in Africa so that we can be having the same connection with them.
Cynthia Travis, Crouching, Listening: It was the moment that we saw the large number of elephants. It was my first time seeing that amount of elephants together. I saw that the moment was so fine, maybe you were talking to the elephants. Maybe you were asking the elephants for help, I don’t know. Maybe you were promising the elephants something, like, We will care for you people, what you need. Maybe you were saying that we wouldn’t hunt because elephants are sometimes hunted by some people. I saw the moment and it was so fine, I took the photo.

Jake filming Mama Deena w/ bones at her feet: The second safari that day we went and saw lot of things. Uncle Jake started asking Mama Deena that how does she feel when she sees the bones. She said, As long as there are no bullets, it’s part of the cycle of life and death. I think that was the reality. To show love for the animals, she picked up the bones and asked the driver if she could carry it. But the driver said Nothing is allowed out of the safari. So she did not carry it. It think that’s the law they have for the park. Maybe they can’t allow the people to take the bones out because maybe some people, if they carry the bones, they can do some work that maybe that group of animals can leave the park and go where they are. Or maybe after seeing, it, the next person can go and see it, too.
